Brett Silverstein is the Senior Vice President of Acquisitions at Trailbreak Partners, where he leads the firm’s multifamily investment strategy across the Mountain West – with a focus on identifying, sourcing, and executing multifamily acquisitions throughout the region. He is responsible for investment strategy development, transaction execution, and capital structuring, driving portfolio growth in alignment with Trailbreak’s investment objectives.

Prior to joining Trailbreak Partners, Brett served as Chief Acquisitions Officer at Brinkman Real Estate, where he led the firm’s multifamily investment strategy – spearheading the company’s expansion into new markets, structuring joint ventures, securing investor capital, and overseeing asset repositioning strategies. Under his leadership, Brinkman expanded into multiple new markets, closing nearly $400 million in transaction volume across 20 multifamily communities.

With a track record of executing complex acquisitions and repositioning strategies, Brett brings a disciplined, data-driven approach to investment management. His expertise in capital structuring, financial modeling, and strategic planning has helped drive sustained growth and strong returns throughout his career.

Brett holds Bachelor degrees from University of Vermont in Accounting and Recreation Management and a Masters in Hospitality Real Estate from Cornell University.

When not in the office Brett can be found adventuring in the Colorado high country skiing, gravel biking or hiking with his wife and son.

Fun fact: Brett was on a competitive jump roping team in elementary school.
