Nick serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Trailbreak Partners, where he leads financial reporting, information technology, investor relations, strategic finance, tax, and treasury. Nick is a passionate & dynamic executive who combines his unique blend of visionary leadership, disciplined financial oversight and industry expertise to guide Trailbreak’s investments toward growth and profitability.

Prior to joining Trailbreak Partners, Mr. Martin held senior leadership roles with The Dot Group and BMC Investments. In these roles, Mr. Martin was responsible for the financial reporting, FP&A, investor relations and treasury functions. Nick has consistently driven results through data-driven financial insights, strategic planning, accountability and adept risk management – demonstrating a track record of financial efficiency & performance while fostering strategic partnerships.

Nick earned dual master’s degrees in Finance and Economics from the University of Colorado, a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and is a Certified Public Accountant. Nick, his wife and two sons – live in Denver, where they love hiking, golfing, mountain biking, skiing and playing tennis.
