Operations Accounting Senior Associate
Andrew Van Slyke

Andrew is an Operations Accounting Senior Associate at Trailbreak Partners. He is responsible for leading month, quarter, and year end close procedures for various corporate and operating entities.

Prior to joining Trailbreak Partners, Andrew worked at PwC as a Senior Associate in the Asset and Wealth Management – Real Estate audit group auditing both public and private real estate investment firms. During his tenure, he increased efficiency in Real Estate Fair Value testing and played a pivotal role in guiding his audit team to seamlessly adjust to the ever-expanding volume of funds and the increased level of activity within these funds. Andrew is a CPA and obtained his bachelor’s degree in accounting and master’s degree in forensic accounting from the University at Albany, SUNY.

Outside of work Andrew enjoys skiing, road biking, mountain biking, and running.

Fun Fact: Andrew was the president of the University of Albany Ski and Snowboard Club during his junior and senior year of college.

Prior to Northwood, Brian worked at KPMG as an Audit Senior Associate in the Dallas, Texas office. Brian earned a Master in Professional Accounting and Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin and is a licensed CPA. In his spare time, Brian can be found playing golf, running and hiking trails, skiing, and attending live music around Denver.
Fun fact: I picked up acoustic guitar as a hobby during the pandemic and eventually want to learn more instruments.
