Business Den – Developers prepare for makeover for Sloan’s Lake block – January 24, 2017
Trailbreak Partners and Koelbel & Co are teaming up to close on the northeast block of the former St. Anthony’s hospital site in Denver, Colorado. The former dorm for the hospital known as the Kuhlman Building will be renovated into 49 subsidized housing units and about 25 for-sale, market rate town homes in this easily accessible, waterfront location right on Sloan’s Lake. These new apartments are for renters making up about 60% of the area’s median income. Construction will begin towards the end of 2017. Read more

The final piece of the St. Anthony Hospital campus redevelopment is under contract and is to soon become affordable townhomes, The gymnasium attached to the soon to be renovated dormitory will be transformed into a retail/restaurant area.“The vision is really trying to create a mixed-use, mixed-income project on Block 3 that integrates into the larger St. Anthony redevelopment and is also mindful of its existing neighbors to the east,” said Doug Elenowitz, principal at Trailbreak Partners. Denver Business Journal – 21 Acre Development along RTD rail line in Adams County – January 13, 2015
Trailbreak is teaming up with Denver real estate icon Dana Crawford and the New Orleans-based The TOD Group Inc. to build a 21-acre mixed use development in Denver called Clear Creek Transit Village. This new development will be along the RTD’s Gold Line, which is a rail route that extends from Denver Union Station to Wheat Ridge. “The principals at Trailbreak Partners have a unique skill set and successful track record in developing sustainable, mixed-use TODs.” -John L.
